Kensington Kindergarten and Child Care Centre is a small, 30 place, family-owned and operated service. We provide quality Education and Care for children from 12 months of age in a very warm and homely setting. Our Service consists of our Pre-Kindy room (1-3 years) and our Kindy room (3-5 years). We are a family-focused service and work collaboratively with our families and the diverse local community. Our service has wonderful large natural learning environments, embraces sustainable practices, incorporates weekly dance classes, yoganastics, HPE, learning connections and wellness program including the Resilience Project. Our vision is that all children are provided with a supportive, nurturing, respectful, inclusive, and rewarding learning environment that will enable them to develop confidence, wellbeing, resilience and necessary skills to carry them into future schooling programs and gain success throughout life.
About the role
You would be a nurturing and passionate person joining our team, to work in collaboration with our teachers, educators, families and the local community. You would be sensitive and responsive to individual children needs and have the ability to provide a supportive and caring early learning environment for the children.

Skills and experience
* Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent ACECQA Qualification) or working towards this qualification.
* Applicants who already hold a Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care would be highly regarded.
* Must have a current Working with Children Blue Card
* Must have First Aid and CPR Certificate relevant to an Early Childhood Setting
* Must have Certificates in Child Protection and food safety.
* Educator applicants must be available to work on a roster basis between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm
