About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role supports our financial operations and contributes directly to strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, with proven experience in financial reporting, planning, cash flow management, taxation, and compliance, ERP system. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare standard financial reports, including profit/loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements periodically to provide accurate financial performance and ensure Compliance Requirements and accuracy in financial records and documentation.
* Monitor cash flow movements, manage operational liquidity, arrange payment plans, and make full use of the company's surplus cash flow to create financial investment returns.
* Liaise with banks and financial institutions to assist with funding strategies and investment planning.
* Develop and implement budgeting procedures to support sound financial planning and control, especially in cash flow planning.
* Conduct financial data analysis to closely monitor revenue trends across key business functions, enabling timely insights and proactive decision-making.
* Analyze the correlation between marketing expenditure and revenue generation within relevant business units, providing real-time insights to inform marketing strategies.
* Assist in preparation and submission of business taxation documents, including BAS, GST, FBT; cooperate and liaise with taxation advisors to plan tax burdens reasonably and legally.
* Provide expert financial and tax advice on business structuring and operational improvements.
* Manage and optimize ERP systems, including accounting systems and operational systems; advise on best practices and technology tools.
* Run payroll monthly and ensure its accuracy in time.
* Support operational teams by providing accurate and timely financial data for decision-making.
* Review job roles and ensure accuracy of financial information.
* Critically assess accounting practices and identify areas for improvement.
* Support functions, including payment guidelines for clients, AR follow-up and clearing, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and service agreements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance role.
2. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, SAP, and a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
3. At least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; however, a master's degree in accounting and/or finance and professional certifications such as CPA/CA/ACCA are highly regarded.
4. Bilingual or multilingual skills—especially in Chinese—are strongly preferred.
5. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills for both internal collaboration and external liaison.
6. Experience working in overseas consultation sectors is a bonus, especially where multicultural team coordination is involved.
