You bring calm to complexity, thrive in a fast‐paced aged care environment, and lead by example by coaching and empowering clinical and care teams to deliver safe, person‐centred care every day. You're values‐led, solution‐focused, and motivated by making a genuine difference to residents, families, and staff alike.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* As directed by the Residential Manager, support the staff performance management process, including staff counselling, probation and performance management reviews.
* Participate in the recruitment process for Registered and Enrolled Nurses and the Care team.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their representatives.
* Coordinate and chair the weekly multidisciplinary team meeting (MDT).
* Coordinate and chair the quarterly Medication Advisory Committee (MAC).
* As directed, manage any complaints and incidents, ensuring a robust incident management process is followed, including open disclosure.
* Oversee and ensure all documentation is accurate and completed promptly.
* Oversee all AN‐ACC reviews and drive reassessments.
* As directed by the Quality team, oversee the accurate completion of the monthly audits.
* Oversee the adherence to the wound management framework.
* Ensure regular fare/family conferences are occurring and provide support in instances of escalated family dynamics or concerns.
* Oversee all clinical risk, including SIRS and high risk/high prevalence, and escalating appropriately to the Residential Manager.
* Coordinate and oversee the admissions process.
* Participate in the ongoing review and development of policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Support the Residential Manager in the implementation of new and amended policies, procedures and practices.
* Monitor resident/family feedback and support the continuous improvement cycle.
* Consultation with medical practitioners, allied health and other health professionals to ensure positive care outcomes for residents.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role.
* Demonstrated senior leadership with experience in aged care or a related field.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Standards.
What's in it for you?
* Work by the coast in one of WA's most beautiful regions.
* A competitive remuneration package that includes not‐for‐profit salary packaging up to $18,550 (tax‐free) – increases your take‐home pay by decreasing the amount of tax you pay.
* A very family‐friendly and supportive organisation.
