We are looking for a Head of Procurement and Infrastructure to shape the strategic direction of Bank Australia’s procurement, infrastructure, administrative, and contract management functions. The head of Procurement and Infrastructure will ensure the strategy aligns with Bank Australia’s broader business objectives and sustainability commitments. What you will be doing Develop the Bank’s facilities strategy. Provide strategic oversight of procurement and infrastructure activities, ensuring they contribute to operational resilience, risk management, and sustainable business growth. Establish and maintain robust governance structures, embedding policies, frameworks, and best practices that promote compliance, efficiency, and ethical procurement. Lead negotiations with key external partners to ensure long-term value, strategic alignment, and risk mitigation. Ensure financial planning, forecasting, and investment decisions support cost efficiency, operational resilience, and long-term sustainability. Develop and implement supplier ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) assessment frameworks, driving accountability and impact in supplier selection and management. What you will bring Demonstrated leadership experience in procurement, infrastructure, or operational risk management within a regulated environment (preferably Financial Services but not essential). Strategic mindset, with the capability of translating business objectives into operational and procurement strategies. Strong governance and risk management expertise, with knowledge of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and financial controls.
