We believe materials are not recycled until they've been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.
The Opportunity
You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and manage and grow established accounts in the nominated territory while growing Visy's footprint through prospecting and new business development activity.
Your Responsibilities
* Sales Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve a capital sales target of $2 million within the assigned territory (Victoria & Tasmania).
* Lead Qualification: Prospect and qualify leads, identifying high-value opportunities within the assigned territory.
* Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client challenges and develop customized solutions that deliver value.
* Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate product benefits and address client pain points.
* Sales Cycle Management: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and closing.
* Solution Implementation: Oversee successful delivery and implementation of solutions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
* Brand Awareness: Participate in trade shows and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
* Account Management: Provide ongoing account management and support to existing customers, fostering long-term relationships.
Your Qualifications
* B2B Sales Experience: Extensive experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the industrial equipment or automation sector.
* Results-Driven: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth.
* Technical Expertise: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with technical expertise in industrial equipment or automation highly regarded.
