We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Front of House (FOH) team. This is a hands-on role suited to a strong leader with excellent customer service skills and solid experience in coffee and bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise daily FOH operations to ensure smooth service
* Lead, train, and roster FOH staff
* Maintain high standards of customer service and presentation
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
* Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and venue policies
* Operate POS systems, handle cash, and complete end-of-day procedures
* Support barista and bar service during busy periods
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow
Requirements
* Approved Manager Card (mandatory)
* Proven experience in a café or hospitality management role
* Strong barista skills and experience with coffee service
* Experience in bar work, including alcohol service
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours
* Strong understanding of FOH operations and service standards
