This role is ideally suited to individuals with proven experience in Distal Extremities, Sports Medicine, or Orthopaedics—particularly those who bring prior management experience or who have excelled as a Sales Representative with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
The successful incumbent will lead and manage a sales team in NSW and join our established management group, working alongside two other Regional Sales Managers within the state
Significant expertise in Distal Extremities will be highly regarded and considered a valuable asset.
About the Role
With a strong focus on executing Arthrex's commercial strategy in Australia and tailoring it to your local market, surgeon customer base, and direct reports, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve annual targets across the Arthrex product portfolio. Your ability to balance strategic leadership with the hands-on management of your own surgeon customer group will be critical to driving sustained success
* Provide leadership by example to an existing sales force that you will help guide and set targets for in line with the overall Australia commercial strategy
* Assist your team in meeting and exceeding set sales/commercial targets
* Support the operations function with sales forecasts and demand plan requirements
* Lead by example recruitment and retention within your team, performance management, development training, succession planning etc
* Drive inter-departmental cooperation with Operations, Marketing, Finance and other teams to ensure the successful execution of your strategy within NSW
About the Requirements
* Successful track record of sales success in Distal Extremities/Sports Medicine and cultivating successful surgeon relationships.
* Demonstrated leadership traits or alternatively prior management of a team.
* Ability to think strategically and constructively challenge customers
* Excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills
* Ability to coordinate successfully across departments and implement and design successful territory business plans.
