Mindful Munnchkiz is a dedicated educational service providing personalised Literacy and Math tutoring for students in Kindergarten to Year 6. We're all about nurturing confidence, building strong foundations, and helping every child reach their full potential.
We are expanding our team and looking for passionate and enthusiastic tutors to join us! Whether you're a qualified teacher, a retired educator, or a 3rd or 4th-year education student — if you love working with children and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Qualified or pre-service teachers (3rd or 4th year of a teaching degree)
* Retired teachers with a love for education
* Individuals who are passionate, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting student success
* People who thrive in a fun, upbeat, and collaborative team environment
What You'll Need:
* Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
* A growth mindset and a willingness to develop professionally
* A genuine passion for helping students learn and build confidence
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
* WWCC (Working With Children Check) – or willing to obtain one
What the Role Involves:
* Conducting student assessments and tracking progress
* Planning weekly sessions tailored to individual learning needs
* Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers
* Creating a warm, supportive and positive learning space
* Using our tutoring programs, as well as your own ideas and strategies
* Participating in training, check-ins and optional professional development
