Job Title: Health and Safety Director

Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's health and safety program aligning with overarching objectives and values.
* Act as subject matter expert for assigned health and safety elements, leading policy, procedures and system development.
* Promote a strong safety culture through heightened awareness, engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
* Identify, assess and mitigate workplace hazards specific to the company's activities.
* Maintain regulatory compliance through audits and site inspections.
* Manage high-risk events, incident reporting and investigations.
* Oversee training programs for employees, contractors and visitors.
* Create and maintain Division-specific health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation.
* Proven experience in senior health and safety roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
* Strong leadership, change management and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical skills for incident investigation and risk assessment.
* Experience with health and safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001).
* Ability to influence cultural transformation.
