We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Service Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support while working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

* Creation of Purchase Orders
">
* Onboarding of machinery to sites
">
* Data entry of workshop records
">
* Management of maintenance department registers and reports
">
* Advising and scheduling relevant parties for necessary repairs and maintenance
">
* Preparing and reviewing all repair work orders for accuracy concerning parts, materials, and labour, and approving the release of equipment for delivery to the customer
">
* Maintaining a filing and archive system for all documents
">
* Providing detailed weekly reports to the service manager
">
* Responding to relevant enquiries
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
To be considered for this role, you must have:
">
">
1. Demonstrated knowledge of practices relating to mechanical workshops, including understanding of mechanical/technical terms, safety, and customer service
">
2. Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems
">
3. Competency in Office software packages - Word, Excel, and Outlook
">
4. Experience in Mechanic Desk software, desired
">
5. Experience in MYOB or Xero, desired
">
6. At least two years' experience in an administrative position
">
7. Experience working in a service department
">
8. Ability to write and work on routine reports and correspondence
">
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
">
10. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
">
11. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
">
12. Current Driver's license and own transport
">
13. Initiative and ability to work without supervision
">
14. Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with other duties as required
