Hampton Mining & Civil is seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics looking for a new challenge and to develop in a role that requires mechanical aptitude and attention to process improvement.
About the role
* Repairs and Service of Heavy-Duty road trucks and earth-moving Equipment;
* Caterpillar component rebuilding experience essential; engines, transmissions, torque convertors & wheel ends
* Repairs and servicing checks;
* Recording of work completed;
* Safe operation, daily pre-start checks;
* Compliance with legislation, regulation and Company's policies & procedures;
* Maintenance of earth moving machines, in particular, CAT and Komatsu;
* Diagnostics and fault finding;
* Input to the Maintenance Management system
About you
* Considerable experience within a mining environment;
* Rebuild experience essential
* Australian trade papers or Australian trades recognition in heavy vehicle maintenance;
* Experience maintaining 777 Dump Trucks, D10 Dozers, 16H Graders and 100T+ Excavators;
* Experience servicing a wide range of earth moving equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu etc.;
* Willingness to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol test, including a Commercial Driver Fitness assessment;
* The ability to obtain a current satisfactory National Police Clearance;
* Possess rights to work in Australia.
