An exciting opportunity for Occupational Therapist Level 3 Acute Care Permanent Part Time 21 hours / week.

Where you'll be working


Acute Care Team and part of the wider Occupational Therapy Department at Royal North Shore Hospital.
What you'll be doing
You will be a leader within the acute care team; responsible to the Acute Care Team Leader with potential to cover any clinical areas within acute care. You will also be a part of the departments weekend roster.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

* Full registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist Level 2.
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation process. Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants.
* Demonstrated proficient skills and knowledge in the provision of current occupational therapy practice. A strong commitment to an evidence-based service to provide for consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, case management, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
* Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
