**What Type Of Person Will Be Successful**:
You will have experience working on large scale projects within civil industry and/or road design. This role could also be a great opportunity for an experienced draftsman who wants to move into project delivery space.
Your substantial experience in delivery of major civil capital projects, civil engineering design, estimating, construction and project management will support City of Armadale rapid growth and make a positive impact on the community.
Other skills that will support you in this role include:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (Diploma in Civil Engineering minimum requirement) or substantial progress towards relevant formal qualifications.
- Experience in Civil and Road Design - design, detailing, estimating and construction.
- Sound knowledge of Road, Traffic and Drainage relevant matters and guidelines.
- Sound knowledge of Local Government Act, Road Traffic Code and other relevant Acts and regulations.
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, IPWEA, Liveable Neighbourhoods, MRWA, AUSTROADS and ARRB Guidelines.
- Sound knowledge of project management.
- Knowledge of Traffic modelling.
- Comprehensive skills in the use of AutoCAD in road and civil design and drafting essential.
- Civil 3D detail Road design experience essential.
- Comprehensive skills in the use of Windows software.
- Developed skills in report writing and correspondence.
- Developed skills in project management practices.
- You must possess Certification in Worksite Traffic Management as well as a current Construction Induction Card.
