The Role
As Head Chef, you will lead the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of a busy commercial kitchen, ensuring exceptional food service every day.
Oversee all daily kitchen operations, maintaining consistently high culinary standards
Ensure quality food preparation and presentation that meets dietary needs, including allergies and special requests
Manage staff rosters, inventory ordering, stock control, and uphold strict food safety compliance
Lead, mentor, and train your kitchen team to build a motivated, skilled, and cohesive crew
Drive recruitment and onboarding to create a strong and reliable workforce
Deliver seamless service that guarantees every guest enjoys an outstanding dining experience

About You
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
Previous Head Chef experience and cooking in a similar environment
Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
Proven experience in planning and developing menus
Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
Ability to prep and organise ahead
Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene
Current driver's license
