Overview
Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in regional healthcare? We are currently seeking applications for Registered Nurses Level 1 positions across Eyre Wards A and B at Port Lincoln Hospital, located within the beautiful Eyre and Far North region of South Australia.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse within Eyre Wards A and B, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients in a dynamic and supportive team environment. Working under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will develop your clinical skills and professional practice through ongoing experience and development. This role involves caring for a diverse patient group with varying levels of complexity, requiring clinical knowledge, teamwork, and a commitment to quality care.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating appropriate care
Providing supervision and support to Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students
Participating in quality improvement and safety initiatives
Promoting best practice and cultural sensitivity in all care provided
About You
You will be a Registered Nurse who demonstrates:
Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
A commitment to continuous learning and consumer-centred care
Competence in delivering care to patients from diverse backgrounds
