Eatons Hill Hotel provides a unique Events experience for our customers whether it be an indoor concert in the Grand Ballroom for you to **** people or an outdoor event for **** people.
The Hotel is in a position to offer a range of experiences on a large scale.
THE ROLE:
As a chef for the Eatons Hill Hotel, you will be reporting to the head chef and your daily duties will include:
Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.
Inspect supplies, equipment's and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
Ability to work on Pans, grill & larder sections
Quality control – ensure that food they are providing is of the best quality.
Inspect the freshness of the ingredients, monitors the matters of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
Being able to work unsupervised.
Plan and organize in determining how to present food.
Candidates will have:
Enthusiasm, creativity and a flair for cuisine
Commitment to excellent customer service
Strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Adherence to all Health and Safety Regulations
An ability to work in a team
At least 1-year of relevant employment experience is required
An applicant should hold relevant industry trade qualifications
Availability to work weekends
