The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is a critical participant in the administration of justice within Western Australia, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution service and confiscation practice.
The People and Culture Branch is responsible for leading the delivery of strategic business partnering, organisational change and organisational capability with our leaders to enable a values-driven, capable workforce for the benefit of all Western Australians.
We are looking for an experienced and innovative recruitment professional to provide end to end recruitment support to the ODPP.
This is a new role that will see you working with the Senior People and Culture Consultant to provide expert advice to staff and managers, support panel Chairpersons throughout the recruitment, selection and appointment process. Key priorities for the role include:
* Drafting and updating of Job Description Forms so an understanding of Job Design will be highly regarded
* Crafting of job advertisements and other recruitment documentation.
* Coordination of large recruitment and selection processes
* Supporting panels as a panel member and/or providing support in the writing of selection reports and documentation as required.
* Provide accurate interpretation and advice consistent with Award/agreement conditions, related employment policies and legislation and public sector guidance documents.
* The accurate preparation of contract letters and associated employment related documents
Your strong written communication skills and ability to liaise with staff, managers and external stakeholders at various levels will be highly regarded as will your accuracy and attention to detail. This is a fast moving and busy role with priorities changing regularly. Your exceptional organisational skills and ability to be flexible and adaptable will be essential along with a strong candidate care focus.
