The Role
This is not a traditional purchasing role.
We're looking for a commercially minded Inventory Analyst to take ownership of forecasting, purchasing, and inventory performance across the business. You'll use data to optimise stock levels, improve cash flow, and drive smarter supply chain decisions.
Working across suppliers, sales, and operations, you'll turn data into clear actions—identifying risks, improving efficiency, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
· Analyse inventory performance (stock levels, turnover, slow-moving stock)
· Forecast demand and optimise replenishment and order quantities (MOQs, volume pricing)
· Use ERP (NetSuite), NetStock and BI tools (Phocas) to identify trends and exceptions
· Raise and manage Purchase Orders and tracking with suppliers — owning the full purchasing execution process
· Shipping management; coordinating and maximising container space
· Proactively identify risks (overstock, shortages, supply gaps)
What We're Looking For
Essential:
• Strong analytical ability — experience working with large data sets
• Advanced Excel / data modelling skills
• Ability to translate data into commercial decisions
• High attention to detail and systems thinking
• Experience using BI tools and/or ERP systems
• Confident using AI tools to improve efficiency
Highly regarded:
• Experience with NetSuite, NetStock, Phocas, or comparable ERP/inventory/BI platforms
• Background in importing, wholesale distribution, or supply chain
• Familiarity with container logistics, freight cost modelling, or Incoterms
• Relevant qualification in supply chain, commerce, data analytics, or a related field.
