The Role You'll step into a Linux-focused Level 2 Systems Engineer role where you'll support a diverse technology stack spanning systems, software, networking, and hardware. Working within a collaborative and customer-facing team, you'll tackle real technical challenges while helping deliver reliable, high-performing solutions. This is a well-suited role for someone who enjoys practical problem solving, scripting, and working across both systems and software in a supportive engineering environment. Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 support for Linux-based systems, troubleshooting issues across infrastructure, internal software, networking, and hardware. Act as a technical escalation point, managing and resolving customer support tickets and interacting directly with users. Perform Linux system administration and support internal applications and platforms, including basic database and network troubleshooting. Assist with scripting and software troubleshooting (Bash, C/C++, Ruby on Rails) to support internal platforms and automation. Participate in a collaborative, people-focused team, including on-call support rotations (once per month). Requirements: Strong Linux administration skills and experience supporting production systems. Familiarity with networking fundamentals, basic database (SQL) administration, and hardware troubleshooting. Customer-facing experience with the ability to handle support tickets and communicate technical issues clearly. Scripting or software knowledge (Bash, C/C++, Ruby, or similar) is highly desirable.
