This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Jamaica Blue Sunshine Plaza as a Barista. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and consistently preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages. The role is based in our cafe located in Maroochydore, QLD 4558 .
What you'll be doing
Preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee and specialty beverages to our customers
Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and making recommendations to customers
Ensuring the cafe's equipment and work area are clean, organised and well-stocked
Providing prompt, friendly and helpful customer service at all times
Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting with other cafe duties as required
What we're looking for
At least 6 months' experience working as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe environment
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
Strong coffee-making skills and a passion for creating exceptional beverages
Good time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Flexible availability to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
