Role Overview
The key responsibility of the Senior Marketing Manager, Home Loan Acquisition and Go‑To‑Market is to own and deliver end‑to‑end home loan acquisition and go‑to‑market activity within the Retail Marketing team, with a strong creative and media performance focus to drive CommBank’s product and customer goals.

As part of the Retail Marketing team, the role will work closely with Product, Brand, Compliance and various stakeholders across the business to deliver world‑class marketing campaigns with creative flair. This role requires a passionate marketer who proactively ensures the customer is at the heart of every marketing initiative.
The role covers product marketing and communication strategy across national, regional, local, digital, social, public relations and direct channels to our target segments.
As a high‑priority portfolio within the bank, you will work closely with Group Brand and Media teams, with regular access and collaboration to deliver integrated, brand‑led acquisition activity.
We are building a courageous and exceptional marketing team, through applying analytics and insights to deeply understand our customers, delivering relevant and impactful communications and optimising activity through cutting‑edge marketing technology and practices.
On any given day, you will
* Use your understanding of key business objectives, targets and customer insights, competitor activity and broader market conditions to drive marketing and communication programs that deliver against business targets.
* Own and lead home loan acquisition and go‑to‑market strategies across integrated marketing channels, driving customer consideration, acquisition and measurable business growth and performance.
* Operating within a high‑priority portfolio, you will collaborate closely with Brand and Media, including integrated brand and partnership activity, to drive brand‑led growth for Home Loans.
* Lead and align agencies, internal teams and up to two Marketing Managers to deliver integrated home loan acquisition and go‑to‑market activity on time and on budget.
* Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency i.e., actively reduce costs without impacting negatively on business outcomes and value propositions through marketing or digital innovations.
* Proactively manage regulatory, compliance and reputational risk across acquisition activity, ensuring all campaigns meet financial services standards and approval requirements.
We’d Love To Hear From People Who Have
* Depth and knowledge of ATL channel creative strategy and execution coupled with through‑the‑line marketing strategy and execution.
* Experience in paid media strategy and execution, especially digital marketing and performance marketing strategy.
* Highly developed project management, analytical, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create win‑win outcomes and have a positive can‑do attitude.
* A financial services background and a sound understanding of financial services retail product and business drivers.
