The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC) leads and delivers person centred care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards for Practice / Midwife Standards for Practice, via facilitation of the competence and confidence of clinicians. The CC provides clinical education at point of care to Nursing undergraduate students and staff across the health service, and working within the Clinical Coach Framework, actively engages in the development of a learning culture and models evidence-based practice at an advanced level relevant to the area of specialty.
Key Responsibilities
* Provides nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings
* Responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research
* Practices autonomously
* Provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services
Remuneration value up to $87 729 p.a, comprising salary rates $57.48 - $61.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6(1) (part time position, 48 hrs p.f.).
