Job Description
This position will support the Procurement and Supply Chain function in delivering P&SC business plan, BAU deliverables, and other projects.
The successful candidate will ensure that the supplier accreditation process for new and existing suppliers and contractors meets specific minimum criteria, standards, and organisation requirements to be registered, eligible, and approved to conduct business and provide goods and services.
Additionally, the role involves managing the procurement vendor database management system to ensure accurate and updated vendor data, conducting regular vendor assessments, performing rationalisation of vendors, and supporting the development and implementation of a supplier relationship framework.
Further, the role requires promoting consistency, best practice, and continuous improvements in sustainable procurement initiatives, including Aboriginal procurement, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, and regional supplier focus.
