Job Summary:
The Role
* Responsibilities include managing customer account collections, reviewing accounts and recommending action regarding bad debts, legal action, and credit reviews.
* Making decisions on order release within authorised limits and terms is also a key responsibility.
* Additionally, you will be required to correctly allocate and age cash received to enable banking on the day of receipt.
* Preparing and maintaining reconciliations, reports and debtor information are also essential tasks.
Required Skills And Qualifications
* Currently undertaking or completed an Advanced Credit Management Certificate would be desirable.
* Proven experience in the Australian commercial credit environment is necessary for success.
* A demonstrated understanding of credit procedures and basic credit law is required.
* Strong administration and organisational skills are essential, as is attention to detail.
* Ability to work with large volumes is also necessary.
