Nursing Program Manager
About the Role
As a Nursing Program Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality vocational education and training programs that equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop nursing curriculum and trained teaching staff.
* Introduce innovative teaching approaches to improve student engagement and outcomes.
* Act as a key link between education providers, healthcare partners, and regulatory authorities.
* Manage resources and day-to-day operations of the Diploma of Nursing program across multiple campuses.
* Build strong relationships with local communities and serve as the main contact for academic staff.
* Oversee the planning and delivery of all VET Nursing qualifications to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure compliance with Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards (ENAS) and the VET Quality Framework.
Qualifications and Skills
You must possess:
* A minimum of a tertiary qualification in Nursing with relevant experience in industry relevant to your qualification.
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with no conditions or undertakings related to performance or behavior.
* A TAE40112 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be willing to complete as part of their employment.
* Demonstrated experience of working within current standards of RTO requirements.
* Advanced understanding of VET delivery and RTO compliance and funding requirements and an understanding of the Australian training environment including Training Packages and reporting requirements.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in the VET sector.
