With all of that we have one of our incredible HRBP's going on parental leave for 12 month, this means we have a need for an additional HR superstar to join the team and help us succeed with our ambitious agenda
**The position**:
- Benetas is passionate about providing our people with the best possible experience. To achieve this, we are seeking a talented HR Business Partner with a strong HR generalist and employee relations background. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will join a talented team with diverse experiences and backgrounds who can support your development. This role will join our wider HRBP team in coaching, mentoring and supporting managers with ER / disciplinary matters as well as contributing to strategic projects on the horizon for our operational teams. We have a variety of projects within the HR team or across the business for you to get involved in, providing stretch and automony to really get your hands dirty as you wish.
- As a HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting and coaching operational managers on HR matters in line with company values and culture. Especially in performance management, grievances and other ER issues
- Mentor, coach and develop the HR Officers and contribute to opportunities for service improvements across the HR team and wider business
- Supporting people-related projects, process improvements and change initiatives
- Providing advice, training and guidance on policies, procedures, legislation and enterprise agreements to internal stakeholders
- Support the wider HRBP team in the roll out and embedding of strategic workforce/tailored people planning across Benetas and contribute to the succession planning process
- Leading and contributing to wider projects such as attraction and retention strategies and employee engagement.
- Our HR team works in true partnership with the business and has a strong customer orientation. Our HR Business Partners have recently been involved in some exciting organisation-wide projects and have the opportunity to truly exercise a range of skills and coaching across a myriad of experience from embedding new managers into their roles and adding value to our talented and experienced existing managers.
- The position is primarily located at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, however the team are strongly encouraged to be present at our at our various operational locations across Victoria. This role will require travel to sites with access to a pool car - a driver's licence is therefore required for this role. Benetas does have a Flexible Workplace Policy to explore hybrid ways of working.
**To be successful, you will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or employee relations (or equitable experience)
- Demonstrated experienced in employee relations, including conducting investigations and providing advice to operational managers
- Experience navigating complex and multiple industrial instruments (within a unionised environment desirable)
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships and work confidently with people at all levels
- The capacity to deal with multiple, and often competing priorities
- A high degree of drive and initiative, and a strong focus on delivering results
- Experience leading change projects and engage stakeholders - desirable
- Experience in leading and establishing strategic workforce planning frameworks - desirable
