Shadforth are a leading Civil Contractor that have a strong reputation working across a diverse range of projects in Southeast Queensland, including Subdivisions, Infrastructure, Community Projects, and Roadworks. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our in‐house survey team to support projects across the Greater Brisbane / Brisbane West Region.
Responsibilities
* Supervision of survey staff and allocation of daily tasks
* Liaise with construction and engineering teams
* Carry out survey tasks across multiple projects
* Perform calculations and set-up site survey works
* Perform quality checks during construction
* Positive knowledge of GPS machine guidance and files
* Trouble shoot problems on site
* Ensure compliance with all WHS procedures
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in surveying will be held in high regard
* Previous experience in construction, ideally in civil
* Skilled in survey related 12D software
* A strong commitment to safety
* Effective communication skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results
* Solid work ethic
* QLD manual driver's licence
