Amity Health is a respected not-for-profit organisation delivering integrated health and wellbeing services across regional Western Australia. We are seeking two experienced Non-Executive Directors to join our Board and contribute to the strategic oversight, cultural stewardship, and long-term sustainability of the organisation.
About the Role
As a Director of Amity Health, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of organisational performance.
- Uphold fiduciary, legal and ethical responsibilities in accordance with the Corporations Act and ACNC governance standards.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of Amity Health’s strategic plan, risk appetite, and cultural priorities.
- Support the CEO and executive team through constructive challenge, insight and accountability.
- Promote reconciliation, inclusion and stakeholder engagement across all levels of governance.
- Participate actively in monthly Board meetings held after hours and a committee, including Finance; Quality, Compliance and Risk; and Clinical Governance.
We support applicants from anywhere within Australia and will require in-person attendance at select meetings or planning sessions.
There is a modest remuneration for Directors in recognition of the commitment required to this role.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who:
- Have attained GAICD (Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors) or equivalent.
- Are a current member of AICD or equivalent.
- Bring demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Legal and regulatory compliance
- Financial management and risk governance
- Strategy and business development
- Human resources and workforce planning
- Information and digital governance
