Therapeutic Youth Worker Role
We are committed to creating safe and supportive environments for children and young people. In this role, you will support young people who have experienced trauma or abuse, providing them with a sense of independence and building positive relationships.
* Support young people aged 10-18 in residential homes
* Work as part of a dedicated team to provide 24/7 care
* Help develop problem-solving skills and independence in daily living activities
Requirements:
* Hold or be working towards a Diploma qualification in Community Services (or related field)
* Current Provide First Aid certificate
* Experience supporting children, young people, and/or people with disabilities in residential care
* Awareness of trauma-informed care and ability to implement it
* Unrestricted Australian driver's license
* Willingness to assist with daily living activities, including personal care when required
