**Roles and responsibilities of the position include**:
- Assisting and accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities
- Assisting clients with their mobility
- Performing light domestic assistance
- Preparing food for clients
- Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing
- Transportation services
- Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
- Doing shopping and running errands
- Liaising with care coordinators
- Documenting services provided, incidents and/or accidents, time sheets and updating other records
- Participating in team meetings, reviews and quality improvement strategies
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Current Police check or willing to obtain
- Current driver's licence
- **Must** have a car and Full comprehensive car insurance
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Work with children check
**Desirable**:
- Certificate III in Aged Care and disability (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in Aged Care, disabilities and mental health
- Highly encourage applicants from Sydney Eastern Suburbs (in demand) or willingly to travel within the Eastern Suburbs area
- Mandarin/Cantonese Speaking
- Arabic Speaking (in demand)
- Adaptable Availability
