Information Governance Lawyer
We are seeking an experienced Information Governance Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in privacy, data sharing, and governance.
About the Role:
* The successful applicant will advise government clients on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Key responsibilities include undertaking Privacy Threshold Assessments (PTA), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), data sharing, and governance.
A strong understanding of AI, data handling, complaints, Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) investigations, and addressing data breaches is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in information law and governance.
* Strong understanding of privacy, secrecy, and FOI laws.
* Ability to undertake PTA and PIA assessments.
* Familiarity with AI, data sharing, and governance principles.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
