Head Chef
The Head Chef is accountable for the smooth, efficient and high-quality delivery of all food services within a residential facility.
This involves planning, preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of nutritious and appealing meals that cater to the individual dietary needs, preferences and cultural requirements of residents.
The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Commercial Cookery and minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook Manager.
They will also have excellent understanding of HACCP & Food Safety legislative requirements, demonstrated working knowledge or experience in cost control and ability to monitor and supervise staff performance and development.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment screening including vaccination, national criminal history check and pre-employment medical assessment.
