An opportunity has presented itself for a Qualified Locomotive Driver to join our Townsville Wilmar Sugar team.
What You’ll Do
* Operate Pacific National locomotives in compliance with safe working regulations and driver accreditation requirements.
* Liaise with Train Control to ensure efficient train operations and schedule adherence.
* Prepare and provision locomotives, including system checks and compliance documentation.
* Perform minor maintenance and first-level servicing activities.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to meet operational needs.
What You’ll Bring
* Accredited and fully qualified Locomotive Driver (Certificate IV in Train Driving).
* Proven locomotive driving experience.
* High regard for safety and compliance.
* Positive, team-focused attitude with ability to work autonomously.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Current full motor vehicle licence.
* Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including local and barracks work.
