About The Role
This is an opportunity to positively disrupt an industry and pioneer groundbreaking change, working with the highest performing Dairy farmers across New South Wales. We are searching for a driven and high‐performing Account Manager to support and grow Halter in the region. As the primary point‐of‐contact for Halter customers, you will be passionate about driving farmer success for one of the world's fastest‐growing companies that will transform how they farm to become leaders in productivity and sustainability.
Location
This role is ideally based anywhere in the North Coast region of New South Wales, ideally in Taree. Frequent travel is required as part of the position.
Who Are We Looking For
* 3‐5 years of experience in relationship management/account management roles.
* Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector with a deep passion for helping farmers succeed.
* Strong business acumen.
* Positive attitude and collaborative team player who excels at overcoming challenges.
* The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‐paced working environment with a high degree of autonomy.
* A hunger for success and personal growth, and an eagerness to evolve alongside a world‐class team.
* Problem‐solving and collaboration skills. Resourceful and quick‐thinking, you work well with cross‐functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions.
* Willingness to travel frequently within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
What Your Day Could Look Like
* Revenue Retention & Expansion: Own the retention, renewals and expansion targets of Halter's existing revenue in the region.
* Ensure farmers extract full value from Halter to achieve their goals and understand the impact on their farming business.
* Account Management: Renew customer agreements and expand revenue of existing Halter customers, adding value in every interaction to drive on‐farm goals and performance.
* Deployment: Support onboarding, training and implementation of the Halter system on customers' farms, ensuring all relevant personnel can successfully use the system.
* Relationship Building: Proactively cultivate genuine and trustworthy relationships with farmers, their teams and families to foster strong connections.
* Farmer Success: Strategically partner with customers to establish clear business goals, timelines, priorities and success metrics.
* Problem‐Solving: Provide prompt and effective communication and support to farmers and team members, addressing technical or operational challenges efficiently.
* Community & Networking: Represent the Halter brand, lead local discussion groups and build strong networks within the community for increased brand visibility.
* Customer Advocate: Act as the voice of the customer, bridging the gap with our product teams to provide vital context from the ground.
* Technical Expertise: Work closely with product teams to offer practical advice from a farmer's perspective on reproduction, pasture and agronomy.
* Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting others to succeed and role‐modeling Halter's Operating Principles.

Halter in Australia
Halter entered Tasmania two years ago and has rapidly expanded to now have 20% of the state's dairy herd. We recently entered Queensland and NSW, and are growing a team and customer base across both states. In Victoria and South Australia, we are preparing to launch following regulatory approval for virtual fencing. In Western Australia, we do not yet have customers but there is significant demand.
