Balgownie Estate is the ultimate luxury destination in the heart of the Yarra Valley, offering accommodation, dining, and event experiences. With 70 beautiful and newly refurbished suites and extensive public areas, we are seeking one reliable and dedicated individual to join our night shift team. This role requires working alone overnight to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming, helping create a comfortable and memorable experience for every guest.
THE ROLE:
* Performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, pool, gym, and other shared spaces.
* Ensuring all public areas are clean, well-presented, and welcoming at all times.
* Completing regular security walks of the property during overnight hours to maintain the safety and security of guests and the premises.
* Assisting with guest services, providing friendly support to guests and responding to basic enquiries when required.
* Shifts from 12am to 6am Sunday to Thursday (or part there of)
ABOUT YOU:
* Previous cleaning experience in hospitality or commercial settings is a plus but not essential — full training provided.
* Current police check.
* Capacity to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
* Capability to lift and carry objects of moderate weight.
* Have a reliable car (there is no public transport to our hotel).
* Full working rights in Australia.
