Cloud Services Manager Position
This role involves leading the Cloud Services team, driving infrastructure standards to improve consistency and effectiveness of Enterprise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Patterns.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Cloud Engineers and Designers to create and maintain Azure Enterprise IaC Patterns.
* Maintain all Infrastructure-as-Code deployments and lifecycle in Microsoft Azure. Ensure deployment processes are fully automated, consistent, repeatable, and scalable.
* Own 'Enterprise Hub' and all ingress/egress of network traffic across all of Azure.
* Develop and implement Azure infrastructure standards for naming, tagging, and detailed designs.
* Ensure all deployments are tagged to appropriate cost centers for charge-back purposes. Own Azure Billing PowerBI Report used by Cloud cost owners. Encourage AEMO-wide Azure cost optimization.
Requirements
* A mandatory detailed knowledge of Azure PaaS services.
* Strong experience with containerization (Azure Kubernetes Service preferred).
* Proven experience with public cloud network technologies, such as Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, Ingress Controllers, and routing.
* Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and own financial governance of all of Azure.
