 
        
        About YouYou possess recognised tertiary or professional qualifications such as CPA, CA or IPA membership or you are working towards them.You have at least two years of experience in accounting or asset management and demonstrate strong financial skills.You can communicate effectively with various stakeholders and handle work of moderate complexity with minimal supervision.Your Typical DayYou maintain the asset register and prepare asset information for annual financial reports.You perform month end processes including depreciation calculations and account reconciliations.You conduct quality checks on asset records and assist with asset valuations and stocktakes.You provide advice and support on asset accounting policies and liaise with auditors and external suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the department's asset register and recordsPrepare asset data for annual financial statements and audit work papersUndertake month end activities including depreciation calculations and reconciliationsConduct quality assurance on asset records and organise stocktakes and asset valuationsProvide guidance and training on asset policies and proceduresLiaise with auditors and external providers on asset management mattersWhy This Role MattersAccurate asset management supports financial transparency and ensures compliance with legislative and reporting requirements.
