The CFO is responsible for providing strategic direction to senior management and overseeing all aspects of Finance, including Payroll, G/L, Tax, and Statutory Accounting. The goal is to drive business growth while minimizing company exposure through effective risk management and loss prevention.
Main Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive financial objectives and strategies to achieve long-term success.
Review and approve operating budgets, monitor performance, and forecast financial results to inform decision-making.
Provide data-driven insights on expense and gross margin analysis, driving corrective actions to improve performance.
Ensure accurate accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, and accrual analysis to maintain financial integrity.
Participate in operating review meetings, provide expert guidance, and make informed decisions that align with business objectives.
Implement decisions based on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Proven experience serving in senior management positions with major retailers or department store arenas; strong retail background.
Strong professional experience in Finance: Accounting, Payroll, G/L, Tax, and Risk Management.
Excellent financial analysis ability with a track record of expense control and meeting budgets.
Knowledge of US GAAP and Australian financial regulatory requirements.
