As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents in a residential aged care home.
\
Key Responsibilities:
\
\
* Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
\
* Acting as team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
\
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.
\
\
Requirements:
\
To be successful in this role, you will need:
\
\
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
\
* Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
\
* Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
\
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
\
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
\
* Strong coaching/training skills.
\
* Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
\
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
\
* Competent IT skills.
\
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
\
