We're building something new and exciting at Stockland a dedicated team of WHS Managers across the country
We're hiring several WHS Managers to join our Safety team across Australia – this role will be based in Melbourne, Victoria. This role is pivotal in driving Stockland's WHS Strategy and embedding a proactive safety culture across our Development and Investment Management (IM) and Construction operations.

Your tasks will include:
* Lead the implementation of Stockland's WHS management strategy, systems and Standards of Safety
* Maintain a visible WHS leadership presence across operations and offices
* Provide expert WHS advice and coaching to internal and external stakeholders
* Support the identification and management of WHS risks, with a focus on Acute High Risk Activities (AHRA)
* Guide incident management processes including facilitating incident investigations for the most serious and ensure lessons learned are shared and acted upon
* Facilitate learning programs including a high impact frontline leader program and contribute to WHS data reporting and analysis
* Implement health and wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with internal teams
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A minimum Diploma qualification or Degree in WHS, Risk, Environmental Management, Science or a related technical discipline
* An established career in WHS, ideally within construction, asset management or both
* Experience or exposure in high-risk industries such as infrastructure, coal, mining, gas or energy
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and best practice management systems
* Familiarity with WHS systems, assurance processes and investigation methodologies, including experience managing critical incidents
* Crisis management experience and exposure to managing critical level incidents is highly desirable
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement
* Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
* Passion for safety and a proactive approach to risk management
