Waste sorter required for busy facility located in Hemmant for an Immediaite start.. Sorting recyclables from conveyor line - fast moving conveyor, repetitive work, noisy and dusty environment.
You will also:
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
* Undertake core sorting of Recyclable materials.
* Perform maintenance and/or safety checks on equipment as required
* Audit waste as required by Local Council Representatives and clients, and provide accurate reporting as required on time to a high standard
Skills and experience
* Experience in the waste or other relevant industry is ideal
* Commitment to safety
* Ability to work autonomously or a part of a team
You will need:
* Your own reliable transport
* Drivers Licence
* Be able to work 5.30am to 2 pm
* Own PPE
* Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks - working on a sorting line for long periods of time can make you feel seasick
* High attention to detail
