CBC Group have an exciting full-time opportunity available for **Dry Fire Technician** to join our growing team. This role is to work on a large government contract, supporting Melbourne schools. Our head office is based in Keilow Park but the role will involve site visits, to locations across both North-east and North-west Melbourne.

**About the role**:
Reporting into a highly qualified Fire Services Manager, who will offer ongoing training and development, this role will be part of a growing team. You will be a hands on Fire Technician, completing all types of Dry Fire Preventative maintenance & repairs across schools in the Northeast and Northwest area of Melbourne.
**Scope of work**:
- Fire panel testing, servicing, and repairs
- Maintenance and fault diagnosis of Fire Detection & Occupant Warning Systems
- Inspection, testing, and repair of Exit & Emergency Lighting systems
- Maintenance and compliance checks for Fire & Smoke Doors
- Fault finding and problem-solving to ensure system reliability
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain ongoing maintenance contracts
- Stay vigilant for potential repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment opportunities across all fire safety systems, within the school environments
**About you**:
In this role, we are looking for someone who is proactive, takes pride in their work and has the following:
- 3+ years' experience working as a Fire Technician or Dry Fire technician
- A passion to learn more, and develop their fire safely skills
- Ideally you have a CPP20521 Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, or a Cert III, (although not mandatory)
- Have excellent communication skills, thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates excellence in relation to safety and awareness and of WHSEQ procedure
- Experience with 'up-tick' is highly advantageous

- Full Australian Driver's Licence
- Hand tools, including power drills and drivers should be supplied by employees. Consumables and specialist equipment (e.g. Annual test kits) will be supplied by CBC. If using a personal vehicle, this must fit for work purposes._
