We're looking for a Network Engineer to support our expanding client base. The Network Engineer at CorpCloud is pivotal in deploying and managing advanced networking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in areas such as Linux, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), and IP Telephony, along with a commitment to exceptional service delivery. This role will be instrumental in enhancing our infrastructure, optimising communication systems, and ensuring seamless integration of cloud-based services, all while maintaining a client-first approach and contributing to our growth in the tech-driven landscape. This role demands a strong technical foundation to handle support incidents, project participation, training and mentoring within the team. The position emphasises a customer-first attitude, commitment to service excellence, and collaboration across departments to fulfill operational goals. What You'll Be Doing This is a varied, hands-on role that includes both remote and on-site support (FIFO/DIDO as required). You'll be part of a team with the following responsibilities: Uphold a client-first approach, ensuring exceptional service standards. Address and escalate client requests efficiently. Adhere to established processes for work recording and tracking. Provide both remote and on-site support as required always maintaining a professional and customer-focused mentality. Execute project tasks in collaboration with project teams and cross-functional resources. Train and mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team. Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to ensure continuous service delivery if required Ensure compliance with CorpCloud's policies, processes, and cultural values. Engage in vendor management, including fault tracking and resolution. Collaborate with Operations and DevOps Teams for seamless service delivery. Obtain and maintain mid to advanced level qualifications or industry certifications. Design and implement network infrastructure improvements based on Linux environments and cloud technologies to enhance system efficiency and scalability. Develop and manage IP Telephony solutions, including 3CX systems, to optimise communication channels for clients. Utilise network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact client services. Work closely with cloud service providers (AWS/Azure) to integrate cloud-based solutions into the organisation's service offerings, ensuring cutting-edge technology deployment. Lead initiatives for the adoption of advanced support and ticketing software, like Connectwise, to streamline service requests and improve response times. While the role is primarily based in our Perth office, you'll be required to travel to remote sites occasionally, supporting installations, maintenance, or urgent issues as needed (FIFO/DIDO). What We're Looking For : A minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a similar Network Technician role Proficient in configuring and managing network solutions with a focus on Cisco, Fortinet, MikroTik, and Sophos technologies. Demonstrated experience with VPN technologies, network design, troubleshooting, and implementation of complex network solutions. Strong practical knowledge in both remote support and on-site technical tasks, capable of leading technical projects and initiatives. Expertise in troubleshooting network-related VoIP issues, ensuring clear communication channels. Capability to perform on-site cabling and connection of voice and data services, adhering to best practices and organisational standards. Proficient in conducting site audits, with a keen eye for evaluation and selection to optimise network performance and reliability.
