About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Fleet Controller to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of our fleet. You will be responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and supporting our drivers to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight across the metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Allocate and schedule jobs for drivers to maximise efficiency
* Monitor fleet movements and provide support where required
* Ensure compliance with company policies, fatigue management, and road safety requirements
* Liaise with customers to provide excellent service and resolve delivery queries
* Maintain accurate records within our transport management systems
* Assist with fleet maintenance scheduling and incident reporting
About You:
* Previous experience as a Fleet Controller or in a similar transport/logistics role
* Proven Experience with TMS systems
* Existing knowledge of heavy vehicles and equipment
* Strong knowledge of local metro routes and freight operations
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer literacy and attention to detail
* A team player with a proactive approach
