The Mental Health Resource Team provides specialist mental health support and education across the Mental Health Service Group and Townsville University Hospital. This team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and fostering recovery-focused services for consumers, families, and carers.

* Salary between $ – $ per fortnight (HP5).
* 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.

About your opportunity
As Team Leader, you will provide operational and professional leadership to the Mental Health Resource Team and psychologists within the Mental Health Service Group. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality, recovery-oriented services and fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
* Four-year degree in Psychology and General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Possession of a Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited tertiary institution, or significant progress towards this, would be highly regarded.
* While not mandatory, eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded.
* Highly desirable: High-level clinical expertise in mental health service delivery.
* Highly regarded: Demonstrated leadership and governance experience within multidisciplinary teams.
* Current C class driver's licence.
* Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
* A probationary period may apply.
