**About the Role**

This is a highly visible role that provides support as a direct report to the Head of Supply Chain Finance across our supply chain division. We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated **Finance Manager **to our** Supply Chain and Operations functions. **You will work closely with the GM Supply Chain; State Supply Chain Managers; Supply Chain Transformation Program Managers and the Head of Finance - Supply Chain

**You will be responsible for**:

- Financial oversight and governance of key strategic transformation programs within Supply Chain, including the $1b+ DC Automation (Witron) project
- Partner and support to Supply Chain senior leaders, providing commercial strategy and operational decision support
- Trusted partner to GM Supply Chain and Supply Chain Transformation Program Managers, providing key support to develop functional strategies and deliver against strategic priorities
- Contribute to broader supply chain budget and forecast activities, leading the embedding of strategic initiatives into operational budgets
- Responsibility of project month-end close processes, review of project expenditure and reporting for DC automation
- Financial assessment and appraisal of proposed Smarter Selling initiatives
- Completion of strategic initiative business cases and PIRs, and support preparation of board papers
- Autonomously leading a team that generates insights and recommendations for key Operational and Supply Chain initiatives, driving end-to-end profitability improvement, through advanced modelling and analysis of financial and non-financial initiatives
- Support procurement of outsourced project delivery vendors
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the wider Finance team
- Proactively lead financial control and governance with a continuous improvement mindset

**You will also have the**:

- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders to create best for business customer, commercial and financial outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver finance and non-finance cross-functional workstreams in a complex environment, owning communications and insight amongst senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive organisational change without direction
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, complexity and comfortably switch perspective from short
- to long-term, high-level to detail, internal to external, customer to commercial
- Proven experience in maintaining a strong financial control and governance framework
- Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiation and dispute resolution with third parties
- Proven ability to deliver through others without direct authority
- Strong experience and understanding of Retail and Supply Chain Operations
- Proven ability to develop, monitor and drive strategy execution against set objectives.

**About you and your skills**

You possess highly effective communication skills, verbal and written, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with the ability to link strategy and financial performance to provide a clear and compelling narrative.

With a sharp commercial skills and growth mindset, you also have;
- Experience working within an ASX listed or complex organisation - with retail/FMCG experience in supply chain and operations highly regarded
- Proven management and leadership skills with a strong emphasis on interpersonal skills
- Ability to actively challenge accountable managers on performance and business results, and to be able to partner with teams to deliver solutions
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills at executive level
- Demonstrated capability of facilitating the development of departmental initiatives linked to business objectives
- High competent at technical ski
