We are seeking a
student or recent engineering graduate
capable of completing
building energy computer modelling and simulation
using
HERO
software, in accordance with
Australian residential sustainability requirements under the NatHERS regulation
.
We are also looking for a professional interested in providing
building quantity surveying services
on a remote basis. If you are skilled in both areas, that's an added advantage.

.
Roles and Responsibilities
Estimate the time required for each computer model project.
Completion of the model following the government modelling protocols and software manual.
Achieve NatHERS star rating compliance requirements with simulation and model optimisation.
Delivery of the model files and summary of commitments.
Quantity surveying
Study the building plans and prepare the calculations and summary of the requested material for certain elements of the building (Not a full survey).
Skills and Qualifications
Valuable understanding of building plans and basic concepts of thermodynamics (normally subjects in the mechanical engineering, service engineering or similar courses).
Functional level of English language, verbal and written.
Personal discipline and good attention to details and numbers.
Exceptional time management and ability to progress with parallel tasks.
You must have a good PC computer or be willing to get one.
