The Opportunity
We're seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Queensland team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding business within the electrical wholesale and contractor space across the state, specifically working with our valued customer based across Switchboard Building companies. You'll build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and work collaboratively with internal teams and supplier partners to deliver value-added solutions to a range of customers in the electrical industry.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 2 years' sales experience in electrical wholesale or industrial electrical ideally specifically working with Switchboard builders.
* Talk the talk, and walk the walk - you'll understand what you're selling and why it will benefit your customers.
* Experience managing customer data through good tech - HubSpot CRM ideal.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills – you'll get to know your customers and what makes them tick.
* A self-starter with strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset – KPIs don't scare you they are what drives you.
* Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
