We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Project Engineer – Civils for a full-time position based in Mundijong / Byford to work on one of WA's largest projects - Tonkin Highway Extension and Thomas Road Upgrade

The Key Responsibilities
* Have a thorough knowledge of the Drawings, Specifications and Quality OH&S, and Environmental requirements for all site related activities.
* Responsible for the administration of the contract.
* Compilation of claims, variations, valuation and cost reviews.
* Pursue outstanding payments.
* Update of Claim/Certification file and follow up of late certification.
* Liaising with Project Manager, Clients, Superintendents and Council Representatives.
* Assisting the estimator collate documentation for tenders.
* Reporting to Project Manager on a regular basis to keep them informed of critical issues.
* Awarding of subcontract agreements or material purchases, in advance of programming requirements.
* Programming of projects with the assistance of the Superintendent and constant review so as to be able to notify parties in breach and enable methods to bring on track.
* Correspondence to Superintendent in relation to delays, variations, practical completion.
* Maintain awareness of the project's Commitment to Sustainable Procurement.
* Adhere to the project's procurement processes including those relating to sustainable procurement.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
* Experience working on civil construction or infrastructure projects in Australia
* Understanding of civil construction, QA processes and site-based delivery
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team
* A hands‐on approach and willingness to get involved in site activities
* Drive, curiosity and willingness to learn new scopes and system
