About The Role
The Medical Workforce Unit comprises three teams, including the Doctors in Training (DiT) Operations, Recruitment and Contracting and Employee Services. The unit as a whole is responsible for the recruitment, credentialing, education and ongoing management and support of doctors at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. The Medical Workforce Advisor (DiT) is responsible for ensuring the DiT training needs are met across their clinical years.
Key Responsibilities
- High volume rostering.
- Daily vacancy management.
- Leave planning and management for DiTs.
- Provide a point of contact for all internal stakeholders regarding all DiT matters as well as secondment sites.
- Monitor joint inboxes to ensure timely assistance is provided.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
- Collaborate with Directors of Training in assisting IMGs with their compliance documentation for AHPRA.
- Assisting with pay related queries in consultation with employee services and finance.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in human resources, healthcare, or related field is highly desirable.
- You thrive in a busy environment; short deadlines don't phase you and you have experience in workforce planning.
- Strong knowledge of the Doctors in Training (DiT) Enterprise Agreement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for service excellence.
- Confident working in partnership with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
